Technical Information

The gateway runs on an AMD K6 running Windows 2000 Professional, with G3VFP interface. The radio is a Kenwood TM-G707 running 3 watts into a dipole. The connection to the internet is provided by Pipex DSL. The gateway computer is connected to the internet via 802.11g wireless networking and a Belkin wireless router provides the interface to the ADSL line.
